PANAMA CANAL

Going through the Panama Canal was really special to me because I feel like it’s one of the few travel experiences I’ve had that would be hard to replicate. I don’t use this word often, but it’s actually marvelous!

Sailing through the Canal was amazing. Beautiful sights from the jump!

We saw an actual Clipper ship! Don’t see these too often.

The main mechanism for transporting ships through the Canal is a series of locks. A ship sails into the lock, which then fills with water (or drains), elevating (or lowering) the ship to the next level/elevation in the canal.
